My mum is amazing! After a night of very little sleep (the pain in my legs was really bad last night) this is what I wake up to by my bed. I used to find it hard when mum wasn’t on board the eating well bandwagon, but she’s fly on board now and it makes a difference. She wants to lose 20kg herself now and has been walking and keeping a food diary. She even went to a nutritionist!

It really helps when family are supportive and when they are trying to achieve the same goals. Especially when you’re in my position of recovering from surgery and so reliant on family to prepare meals.
